Central African EPA negotiations postponed

The joint technical negotiating meeting scheduled to be held in Brussels the week of 20 April has been postponed at Central Africa’s request.

This will allow Central Africa to first hold a regional trade ministerial meeting to, among other things, discuss EPA issues and establish their political direction. The CEMAC Secretariat is also currently undergoing a major reorganisation (all posts have apparently been published and are available), which has also disrupted its operations. No new date for joint negotiations has been set yet.
