Cmo
CMO (Centrum voor Mondiaal Onderwijs = Centre for Global Education - Radboud University Nijmegen) was founded in December 1968. CMO works nationwide for the Netherlands on global education, an umbrella term for education on sustainability, development education, human rights education, peace education, environmental education and intercultural education.
CMO's aim is to provide all sorts of educational materials on global education: teaching materials on paper, cdroms, educational websites; most of these materials are produced in cooperation with other NGO’s (Platform Human Rights Education, Right of Education Platform – Millennium Development Goals), national projects with partners such as Kennisnet, Oxfam-Novib (Oxfam Netherlands), IKV Pax Christi, Ministry of Education, Council of Nijmegen, educational publishers and international projects as Global Education Network (Socrates) and Global Express Phase II.
